I would like to suggest that the backup singers get out of the picture. You can't hear Clay's beautiful voice with them and also get rid of the drums and other loud instruments. Clay's voice needs to be heard, so get keyboards, and some string instruments. We have heard Clay's voice for nearly a year and it was wonderful, but I am sorry his new CD does not do him justice, through no fault of his. Please give him a chance to hve a second CD. Thank you

actually I just wanted to comment on the part where you said good thing clay has some geek appeal and is going up against to overweight people. What did you mean by that just because they are overweight they have no talent or that they just wouldn't make a good idol. I think you are so wrong for saying that . You see who don't you sure wasen't the little skinny geeky guy now was it. Even though he has much talent Ruben deserved to win.

I think it's quite possible to know a lot about something without knowing the same things as someone else, Jack. Besides, nobody said they knew a lot about American pop music.

If you don't know who Neil Sedaka is then you don't know much about American pop music. Yawn re Clay's rendering of Solitaire? My goodness, go back to your Mudd Puddles.

I thought Josh Puke-cin should have been voted off last week, but I hated Carmen more, so I was glad to see her go first. Thankfully, Josh held true and sucked, so it's his turn.

Personally, I think it's between Ruben and Clay, but Kimberley's gonna make it interesting. If I had to put money on it: Ruben.
