So now we have even started our own business, almost a year and going strong, and I try to help other people looking to get their father things for Father's Day and such. I remember listening to "Poisoning Pigeons in the Park" and "The Elements Song" among others with him on his old slate 78's (very fragile!!!) when I was a kid. Much of the humor went over my head at the time, but he would laugh almost to the point of tears sometimes. I think the best thing I ever got my Dad was a CD collection of Tom Lehrer tunes. There has been times that I am the only one who doesn't know what the person is getting. Thankfully my dad does usually wait for some sort of gift time, if it is close, to get what he wants. Its pretty easy to get him something he wants. My mom and I are the only two in the family that "If we want it, we go out and get it."
