Triple Crown

Scott reminded me that Florida now has an odd dominance in major sports: teams in this state hold the World Series trophy and the Stanley Cup and two years ago won Super Bowl. The only sport at which this state has not "won it all" in the past two years has been basketball, my least favorite of the four major sports. It's too bad I'm still a hard-core Pirates, Penguins, and Steelers fan (and always will be).

The Miami Heat didn't suck. Give them another two years, and they'll go far.

Don't forget all the college football national championships that FSU, UF, and UM have won.
