QotD: Gmail
Posted March 4th, 2005 @ 09:09pm by Erik J. Barzeski
Question: Have you talked to anyone in the past month who wanted a Gmail account and doesn't yet have one?
My Answer: I think I have about 110 invites right now. It's ridiculous. No longer can Gmail be called an "invitation-only" kinda gig - invites are everywhere. Heck, Carey has about four Gmail addresses.

Same here. I have two gmail accounts with a total of 100 invites and I can't even give them away.

The more invites they hand me, the more I'm tempted to get that Gmail file system running on OS X and set up a remote disk array.

I don't have a Gmail account. Of course, since I'm losing my primary email account in about a month I think I could use something like that for the time being.
