- V.I.S.T.A - Volunteers In Service To America (*rofl* but patriots shure take n this one haha)

- Veterans Health Information Systems and Technology Architecture VISTA is the primary repository of clinical, administrative/financial, and infrastructure data in VA

- VISTA is the Visible & Infrared Survey Telescope for Astronomy, a 4m telescope in development which will be sited at Cerro Paranal in Chile.

- In the fiction of J. R. R. Tolkien, Vista is a part of the atmosphere that surrounds the world of Arda before the cataclysm at the end of the Second Age. Vista forms the inner layer of normal air: above it is Ilmen, and above that Vaiya. (i.e long talk short meaning: "MiddleEarth")

So... do i like it ? "An enclosed view, usually long and narrow." ?

yes yes yes - its stupid enough for a windows to be called after. Sure

they can call it whatever they wont. it'll still be too little too late as far as i'm concerned.

Vista is about as catchy as "95" was though, so whatever.

Vista as defined by Bartleby:

A distant view or prospect

So, yeah I *LOVE* the name vista and think it's absurdly appropriate.

I am *so* going to hell.

"vista - noun, a pleasing view, esp. one seen through a long, narrow opening"

Does that says "tunnel vision" or what?
