You know, maybe it's just me, but isn't this pretty ineffective advertising? That girl is ugly!!! She looks she's part man, part monkey.
Now, I'm not saying I'm hot shit or anything like that, but nearly everyone I've shown this ad to has made an unprompted remark about how odd the chick looks.
She ain't hot, and there's no way I'd click that ad. (What that ad is doing on a respectable Mac news site is another story.)

might be intentional to show the crowd at date.com may not be the perfect beautiful people of the world, but a place to meet someone not so intimidating and/or more real or more desperate.

Ha! This proves that Erik is still angry with dating services because he never got any good responses at match.com. After reading his ad it was no wonder! Only someone like me could appreciate him!
