i had the same crap happen, but i figured out because i didnt get my videos from itunes that they all go to my "Movies" section, you right click, go to "Get Info" and you can change things like the length of the song, add/subtrackt lyrics, +/- pictures, and change it to "Movies" "Music Videos" and "Tv Shows" but i dont have a "Music Video" thing so it goes to my music catagories

This does suck ....but first things first, where do they go on itunes when you change them to music videos????? at least they are categorized on the ipod but come on? is there a way to add it to the "music video" playlist even after you change the video info.>?????

Creating a Smart Playlist for Music Videos is the best temporary solution I've seen for this problem. I agree that Music Videos should definitely be a main media category with Music, Movies, TV Shows, etc. Why Apple would make a Music Video category on Video iPods and not on iTunes software is beyond me.

of course that is obvious but it is still not a final solution
what about the people who have tons and tons of tv shows and music videos
the music video should have its own section just as movies do
simple as
what about everywhere outside the US who cant even buy movies on the itunes store yet but who can buy music videos
its not like it is a big request since apple had provided the section in previous versions of itunes
What i did was put my music videos as a TV Show with the title of the show as "Music Vidoes" (or whatever you prefer). This allows you to have the music videos in your library, but i agree that there should be a better way to do this.

Also, this will not put the music videos in the default "Music Videos" folder in a video iPod.
If this wasn't obvious to all of you, this still lets you view the music videos, just under the TV Shows menu.

This program should help you batch-change all your "Movies" to the "Music Video" video kind at once.

This is retarded.
I have a bunch of music videos encoded in ipod format.
I tried 'dragging and dropping' the music videos into the "Music Videos" Smart playlist that it created.
I was hoping they would all be tagged as "music videos", but ITUNES7 will NOT even let you do that.

Bottom line:
-Music videos should be in the LIBRARY not the PLAYLIST.
-Music videos should have a subcategory in the LIBRARY, just like the Movies and the TV Shows do.

itunes software people are seriously slacking.
They took itunes6 that had no problems and made itunes7 which happens to be worse.

if i can edit multiple songs info, why not edit multiple videos info?

It can't be that hard for them to do. seriously
