Time’s Person of the Year

The joke is now well-known, but thanks to Dan Wood, it's a bit easier to see yourself as Time's Person of the Year.

I guess that means Gruber I was wrong about the recent security update.

If this were Las Vegas or any of the CSI shows, you could like totally zoom in on the reflection of my screen and see whether I was looking at porn when this image was taken. (I wasn't - but Ze Frank was playing in an iTunes video window.)

      No, Gruber wasn't wrong, since none of this is sent back to a server. (Except for your screenshot, har har.) Big difference between local loopback and pushing bits down the tubes to the interwebs.

      I see what you mean. The Java component… My initial reading was just the capturing of images via embedded QT files.

      I sort of assumed that the QuickTime exploit was this.

      I'm not sure if I should be surprised that the iSight "issue" (reported at a Mac rumors site) got more press.
