It's hard enough for experienced pro photographers to make a living. The idea that all of a sudden a bunch of amateurs in the stands will start making a ton of cash of shots from the crowd is total crap.

The San Jose Sharks have a much more reasonable policy: no lenses over six inches. It's pretty fair, and totally objective. No having the $6/hour security guard telling you your camera is too "professional."</description>
