Studio 60 was one of the very few shows I watch on network TV besides 24 (I watch The Shield but that's on FX). I now more likely to just go out and purchase the shows I use to enjoy rather than sit through the mind-numbing crap the studios are putting out now. As a big Sports Night fan, I could not agree more...

Studio 60 was one of the very few shows I watch on network TV besides 24 (I watch The Shield but that's on FX). I now more likely to just go out and purchase the shows I use to enjoy rather than sit through the mind-numbing crap the studios are putting out now. I just can't believe they are pulling it to be replaced by another "reality" show.

Wow, I am shocked that it was making money! I just went and double checked, and found something that said it was taking in the neighborhood of 2-3 million dollars per episode to produce, which is quite a lot of money for a show that isn't in the top 5 or 10 shows on television.

I watched it, and am a little disappointed that it won't be returning, but I honestly can't blame them. Its probably a very expensive show to produce, and people were not watching it. NBC probably made the right decision from a business perspective by not bringing back Studio 60. That being said, the replacement doesn't sound all that exciting, but I bet its cheap to produce and will attract at least the same size audience as Studio 60 did.
