X360

If you have an Xbox 360 and a Mac, and are interested in beta testing an application that, uhhh, "connects" them, please leave some contact information in the comments1. Thanks.

Update: Wow! I wasn't expecting 20+ responses (at this time of year), so I'm not sure what we'll do now. I had envisioned only having a beta test of 20 or so. With normal response rates, that's about 10 free licenses to good testers and 10 discounts to those who signed up just for an early peek at something. :-D

Perhaps we'll have a sort of lottery to see who gets in, or we'll do it in phases, or maybe I'll just cut it off at the current 20. Or maybe we'll let everyone in and hand out licenses to anyone who does a good job. I don't know. If you're interested, leave a response. It can't hurt.

Footnotes

  1. Or just leave a comment like "I want to beta test!" and supply a valid email address.

I'm kind of confused by the "connects," not sure if it's a deliberate reference because of a connection or the lack of.

    Either way, I'd love to!

Console wars aside, there is a huge missing void for PS3 to Mac connectivity... if said application could be made to work with a PS3, I'd gladly fork over $40.

    Just sayin'....

I think Leopard's going to be required. Sorry. :-(

I think some other people may have you covered there shortly. Neither I nor Brad own a PS3.

I can confirm that Leopard is required. I started playing with some of the new stuff in it and we're way too far down the rabbit hole now.

Yet. I didn't own an xbox too long ago either. =)

I'm not saying it's going to happen, but I'm also not saying there is no chance of it happening. The xbox is the focus now and we'll see what happens with the PS3 in the future.

Well, my 360 is in the shop right now, but I'd be interested. I've been using Connect360, but there are a few things that I'd like to see implemented differently.
