X360

If you have an Xbox 360 and a Mac, and are interested in beta testing an application that, uhhh, "connects" them, please leave some contact information in the comments ((Or just leave a comment like "I want to beta test!" and supply a valid email address.)). Thanks.

Update: Wow! I wasn't expecting 20+ responses (at this time of year), so I'm not sure what we'll do now. I had envisioned only having a beta test of 20 or so. With normal response rates, that's about 10 free licenses to good testers and 10 discounts to those who signed up just for an early peek at something. 😀

Perhaps we'll have a sort of lottery to see who gets in, or we'll do it in phases, or maybe I'll just cut it off at the current 20. Or maybe we'll let everyone in and hand out licenses to anyone who does a good job. I don't know. If you're interested, leave a response. It can't hurt.

  1. Sounds fun. I'd like to help test.

  2. I'm kind of confused by the "connects," not sure if it's a deliberate reference because of a connection or the lack of.

    Either way, I'd love to!

  3. I'd very much like to test it.

  4. I'll help out.

  5. I WANTS 2 BETA TEST PLZ! 😈

  6. Well, got a 360 and a Mac running Tiger.

  7. I'm game!

  8. Console wars aside, there is a huge missing void for PS3 to Mac connectivity... if said application could be made to work with a PS3, I'd gladly fork over $40.

    Just sayin'....

  9. I'd be very interested.

    Thanks.

I think Leopard's going to be required. Sorry. 🙁

I think some other people may have you covered there shortly. Neither I nor Brad own a PS3.

  11. I have Leopard on my laptop (as well as Tiger running on other Macs in the house). Interested to see what it is...

I can confirm that Leopard is required. I started playing with some of the new stuff in it and we're way too far down the rabbit hole now.

Yet. I didn't own an xbox too long ago either. =)

I'm not saying it's going to happen, but I'm also not saying there is no chance of it happening. The xbox is the focus now and we'll see what happens with the PS3 in the future.

  13. XBox 360. Check.
    Mac. Check.
    Leopard. Check.

    I'm game. Count me in.

  14. I've got all bases covered. I'll try it out.

  22. I am interested in connecting my mac to the xbox 360. I have a mac mini ppc with leopard and a recently resurrected xbox360.

  23. I'd be interested in testing

  24. Well, my 360 is in the shop right now, but I'd be interested. I've been using Connect360, but there are a few things that I'd like to see implemented differently.

  25. I'd be interested.

  26. I'd love to see what this is. Also have Connect360, however it's not been behaving perfectly since the Leopard upgrade

  27. Same here. Been using connect360 but not 100% satisfied there. Would be interested in trying out another product.

  28. I'd be interested too.

My email is attached to this post, and my Gamertag is "Kal of Krypton".

  29. Quite interested. Currently using connect360.

Mail me and I can give you my IM if needed. Cheers.

  30. I'd give this a try!
My 360 and 3 macs have been tethered forever with connect360 so I got a good setup for it 🙂
