Gaming Goodness, Vol. 1

Descent3 + Call of Duty 4 = Gaming Goodness.

I can't remember why I'm thinking about Descent today, but man that game was fun. Basically, an updated version of Descent built for online play would be awesome.

It's because Descent was a great multiplayer (though LAN only, out of the box) game.. Many an hour did I waste at the computer lab playing Descent on P90's.

Decent, even the thought of that game makes me sick. I don't know what it was about that game, no other game has ever done it, but every time I tried to play I would get motion sickness really bad about 5 minutes in. So I think I'll be passing on an updated version.

that was a feature, not a bug.

Ooh, Descent. I was the only one in my gang able to fully think in three dimensions, so I always managed to ambush my friends by hiding above doorways etc while the rest of them kept orienting themselves to the floor.
