MM/MS and CW, nice to know you. You're not the crazy ones Apple talked about so long ago, but you've made my day on numerous occasions with your legitimate craziness. For your sakes, and the sakes of your loved ones, please find a mental health professional and get help. 🙂

House Medical Reviews

This site reviews each episode of House and details all of the medical things they've gotten wrong. Love it!

Ball Flight Laws

I just got the thing on February 4 and the battery is already dead? Great. Then again, they were the junky no-name batteries. Perhaps a pair of Duracells will last longer than a few months.

USPS Profanity

I had to change "balls" to "spheres." Both "golf balls" and "golfballs" failed. I didn't bother to check things like "baseballs" or "mothballs." Seriously…

It's so awesome I wonder how many people think it's faked somehow. Supposedly, it's not. 😉

Adium and Gmail Annoyance

How can you turn that dialog off in Adium? I've changed my preferences to not show an alert, but that doesn't seem to do diddly squat. I've just now reset those, though, so perhaps they'll actually work now. I'm using the latest nightly build.

Seve

The golf world lost a great champion earlier today, and while I was not into golf when Seve was in his prime, I enjoyed reading every story I could find about him when I got into golf, and he's one of a handful of players I really wish I could have seen in his prime.

If you're into golf, check out evolvr, now with 16 months of experience. The platform has worked really well for our students, and we're moving forward with the same great pricing and instruction quality as ever.

Einstein was Right Again

Love it! Put a spinning gyroscope into orbit around the Earth, with the spin axis pointed toward some distant star as a fixed reference point. Free from external forces, the gyroscope's axis should continue pointing at the star--forever. But if space is twisted, the direction of the gyroscope's axis should drift over time. By noting […]

Star Wars Day 2011

May the Fourth be with you. Ha ha. So original. Almost as funny as everyone saying "see you next year!" on December 31. I prefer Pi Day.

With Friends Like This?

http://evolvr.thegolfevolution.com/. Launched February, 2010. Another site just launched. The operators were just talking with us about buying the evolvr web software. They didn't even get a price yet. Their site uses PayPal and Dropbox. It has no queue, no notifications, no accounts, nada. The site even copied the language, pricing structure, the "three steps," etc. […]
