Effecting vs. Affecting

Affecting something can produce effects.
Of course, one can have affectations, too.
Both can be a noun or a verb, but generally affect is the verb, effect is the noun.

"effect" is also a verb, and it may just fit in with that caption, too.
effect –verb (used with object)
to produce as an effect; bring about; accomplish; make happen: The new machines finally effected the transition to computerized accounting last spring.
