Scott Stevenson writes about it here, and I'm not going to give Dvorak the pleasure of another incoming link. The title says it all, and I also don't want to give Dvorak the pleasure of knowing I've wasted any more than this brief slice of time thinking about him.
P.S. Dvorak is just an attention whore. [...]

This, while being cool and helpful, is also kinda creepy. Isn't it? I mean, just look at this Windows window inside a Mac window. It goes beyond even Virtual PC creepiness.
Regardless, very cool of wisc.edu. I almost typed "misc.edu." That'd be a fun domain name…

So you can win some things if you download the billionth song.
Great. I can't even add some items to my shopping cart. I get an error 502. I owe someone an iTMS gift certificate and I can't even access the proper "page" to buy a gift certificate, nor can I add songs to my cart.
You [...]

I don't know what all of the fuss is about - it still looks hideous. Absolutely hideous.
But so long as it renders pages properly, I couldn't care less how it looks because at least I don't have to use it.

I've been getting a lot of ICQ spam lately. And it's not even spam: it's a bunch of German asking "hello" and "how are you" and so forth. No links - just mindless German babble. Worse yet, Adium can't seem to block the spammers. WTF?

Not that it ever was, but not it certainly isn't.

No, it's not, and those that want to complain that Apple has suddenly become Non-Public* Enemy #1. Hogwash, people:
However, this isn't about the MiniStore itself. It’s about Apple's attitude in rolling this change out to the millions of iTunes users, without as much as a peep about what's going on behind the scenes
Frankly, I'm not [...]

Read about it here. While I am of the opinion that the Lugz/Eminem ads are surprisingly similar, to this latest charge I must ask one simple question: how many different shots could one possibly get inside Intel? In other words, so what if the motions of the machines are similar? They do the same things [...]

From the "government threatening its citizens" department comes this nugget (visit grokster.com):
The United States Supreme Court unanimously confirmed that using this service to trade copyrighted material is illegal. Copying copyrighted motion picture and music files using unauthorized peer-to-peer services is illegal and is prosecuted by copyright owners.
There are legal services for downloading music and movies. [...]

If this thing (Tunatic) worked, it'd be pretty neat. As of now, it doesn't identify very many songs at all.

I scanned in a few pieces of felt (on a sample card - you get to choose the color) and wanted to make the felt a background image on a website. It may have been too tacky to use in the end, but I was looking mostly to get an image that resembled just a [...]

I still cannot purchase anything from the iTunes Music Store. I continue to get the same error message. I have to go to Tam O'Shanter today to meet with the pro down there for some work I'm doing for a golf company and was interested in buying an audio book.
I submitted a support request four [...]

Someone pointed me to a thread on IGN's forums about how the XBox 360 will be a failure because… of who knows. I forget - the points they made were just weak.
I posted a quick response that will probably be met with flames. Essentially, as a Mac user, I feel I have a unique (4.5% [...]

Anyone else having problems today?
I can't buy a movie I put in my shopping cart yesterday.
