QotD: April Fools

Question: What's the best April Fool's prank you've pulled?

My Answer: The rainbow stickers. That's all I'll say about that.

  1. I don't know about me, but Google pull a nice one. Check out here for more information

  2. I snuck into my high school with my girlfriend the night before and turned everything in the dean of student's classroom upside down... His computer, monitor, keyboard, mouse, all the tables, chairs, the projector, the wall clock, posters, pictures... everything we could turn upside down except the chalk board and light fixtures.

The worst part was that he took it really well.

He got a number of students to right everything before school even started. He didn't say anything about it other than mentioning that a prank was played and that the perpertrator(s) would be expelled if discovered. So, needless to say, we never told anyone until after graduation.

  3. I never had the pleasure of introducing a superbly-crafted prank onto the public on the 1st of April. However, I did come across this website

And have picked up my favourite n naughty one from the lot. What do you think?

In 1982 the Daily Mail reported that a local manufacturer had sold 10,000 "rogue bras" that were causing a unique and unprecedented problem, not to the wearers but to the public at large. Apparently the support wire in these bras had been made out of a kind of copper originally designed for use in fire alarms. When this copper came into contact with nylon and body heat, it produced static electricity which, in turn, was interfering with local television and radio broadcasts.

The chief engineer of British Telecom, upon reading the article, immediately ordered that all his female laboratory employees disclose what type of bra they were wearing.

  4. Several of us back in high school went into the school library, and took all of the books off the shelves. We then put them back on the shelves -- sorted by color. (i.e. there was now a "red" section, a "green" section, etc.)
