PulpFiction (and Lite) 1.0.2

PulpFiction 1.0.2PulpFiction (and PulpFiction) lite have advanced another minor version. They're now both at 1.0.2. You can grab them here. The changelog is rather significant. The highlights include:

  • Added French and German localizations.
  • Subscriptions diplayed in alphabetical order in the menus.
  • Subscriptions can be added with no windows open.
  • Preview pane and web browser respond to cmd-= to increase font size.
  • Added support for 301 codes.
  • Fixed the bug that caused the incorrect number of unread article.
  • Fixed the status bar's unread count for folders that contain subfolders.
  • Fixed a bug that caused articles to appear in the wrong folder at fetch.
  • Improved the rate at which new articles are added to the article list at fetch.
  • Set forward delete and backward delete to act in opposite directions in the article list.
  • Set subscriptions to check when first added.
  • Added in EFF Donation Drive donors.

This was primarily a bug fix and localization release. The full changelog is available in the extended entry, for those who care to look at it, or at the FSS site.

  • Added user feedback if opening a url in the external browser fails.
  • Added support for 301 codes.
  • Added support for 410 codes.
  • Interface now updates correctly for all subscription unsubscribes.
  • Fixed a UI bug when applying a delete filter to selected articles.
  • Fixed a UI bug when applying a copy filter to selected articles.
  • Fixed the bug that caused the incorrect number of unread article.
  • Fixed the status bar's unread count for folders that contain subfolders.
  • Fixed a bug that caused articles to appear in the wrong folder at fetch.
  • Improved the rate at which new articles are added to the article list at fetch.
  • Fixed a bug that could cause a feed fetch to fail.
  • Fixed a UI bug that caused the copy filter at fetch to not display.
  • Set the article table to sort on flag or read only as primary key.
  • Fixed the empty trash on quit option.
  • Fixed displaying an article's subscription info if the subscription has been deleted.
  • Set select next/previous unread to not count current article.
  • Fixed the label filter if "is not" is the predicate.
  • Set forward delete and backward delete to act in opposite directions in the article list.
  • Fixed a bug that caused unreachable subscription's next check date to not be updated and show the succuss icon.
  • Fixed AppleScript's setting of flags and pollInterval.
  • Set subscriptions to check when first added.
  • Fixed displaying size for new articles.
  • Added in EFF Donation Drive donors.

  3. Thanks for the bug fixes and more importantly the speed. PF is starting to feel snappy again. Though it may have something to do with deleting those 10,000 articles. 😉

    Also, is there a list of the EFF Donors? As I updated and never had them added to my subscription list, I'd like to download an OPML file or something similar to get some more exposure to the new feeds and see which ones I want to keep.
