QotD: Expensive Music

Question: What's the most money you've ever spent on music in a single day?

My Answer: I once bought a ton of R.E.M. imports on a single day and the grand total was just under $400. I got a lot of good stuff, though!

  1. They're from Georgia, you live in Florida, and you have to import the good stuff. What kind of world is this, anyway?

The most I've ever spent is like probably 80 or so in about 10+ used CDs

  2. Import from Europe and Asia. People over there care much less about bootlegging. 🙂 R.E.M., in fact, cares less about bootlegging. Mike Mills… I have him saying "bootleggers, mind your quality. I don't mind bootlegging, but I hate garbled bad quality recordings." (paraphrased)

  3. $30. I don't spend too much on music CD's anymore. Movies, however, are a much different story...
