DVD-TiVo-R

So, Pioneer has DVD-R TiVo receivers now, and they cost $1200 or $1800. They fail to allow you to add your own menus and whatnot as iDVD will, and they don't have DirecTV receivers built in. I think I'll keep my current solution for awhile…

  1. Very cool - lets hope they support some other levels of compression and go below the 2Mbit/sec bar.

  2. I love the idea, but it's way to expensive. If these type of things drop in price to the point of being reasonable, I may add a second TiVo to my collection... after I get a place to live that warrants having 2 TVs... 🙂
