iTunes:
Your shopping cart's contents have changed.
Either the prices of some items have changed, or items have been added or removed from another computer. Please review your shopping cart and click Buy Now.

This is a known problem and they're working to fix it. I've switched back to "Buy Now" (no shopping cart) to get around this temporarily.
The item in question was a collection of one-hit wonders with songs like "O-o-h Child" and "Don't Worry, Be Happy." Oddly, the name of the album was always incorrect, but it usually worked. Double-clicking the song(s) played the preview (as they did in the linked-to $0.00 song problem).
So, it'll be fixed. Not to worry. 🙂

I have attempted to download some chrismas songs, I have already purchased them but when they started to download I got an error message, it asked me to go to the advanced menu and check for purchased music... etc. but everytime I did that they started to download and did the same thing. I have the suspicion that my internet is too slow to download music. The message always has (-50) at the end of it. Could this be the problem or is my computer just iTunes-phobic?
