QotD: Sopranos

Question: What do you think of the Sopranos so far this year?
My Answer: I thought the hour-long dream sequence two weeks ago was a filler - something I'm not sure I see much need for in a 13-episdode season. It took a few episodes to get into the swing of things, but last week's episode was one of the best with Adriana's murder. Big plot point, potentially.

The half hour dream sequence was just awful, but the rest of the season has been really great. All and all, much better than the last couple of years.

Thanks for the spoiler, doofus. This is the WORLD WIDE web, and we're still only a few episodes into season 5 in Australia. Smacks to you.

The dream episode sucked, but other wise it's been a pretty good season. Started off a little slow, but they were laying a foundation in them. Last weeks episode was great. The whole suicide and everything was perfect. Mess with her head before capping her.
I'm really liking Deadwood too. It's a nice 2 hour block.

I think last week's episode was the best ever but I think the season has sucked so far, there's only been a little bit that has been interesting. I'm really hoping the season finale is good. 🙂

I honestly think this season (5) is the best since seasons one and two. There have been some knockout episodes: 'Where's Johnny", "Irregular Around The Margins", "Unidentified Black Males", "Long Term Parking" -- and I even thought "Test Dream" was worthwhile (it really rewarded close viewing.)
