   Yep. It's old and decrepit (four years), but it still works like a champ. Considering today's prices, I grossly overpaid, but that's the nature of technology, isn't it?

   Like you, I don't remember to use it much. I find that without a story plan, or any plan for that matter, it's pointless to just shoot video. That may change, however, around the second of December when my wife is due to give birth.

   (No, I'm NOT shooting the birth, thankyuhverymuch!)

   My Answer: Yes. I own a Hitachi Digital 8 camcorder. Got it on eBay a couple years ago with some tapes, extended battery, and other misc. accessories. Haven't used it in probably a year now. Not sure why not...

   DCR-TRV22 here. Neat little cam. Don't need more than that.
