   Sorry this isn't a real response to the question. This is just a comment about the linked Guardian blog entry. #10 on the list is "defenestration." What the hell? That's the act of throwing or pushing something out a window. How does that end up as the #10 "word of the year?" Who/what of any importance was thrown out a window this year?

   I guess the words of the year (same in rank for me) is Bush, WMD and Terror, and I am pretty tired of listening to them whenever I turn on the news channel.
