Canon Digital Rebel XT Firmware (1.0.2)

There's an update to the Canon Digital Rebel XT's firmware. The update (1.0.2):

  1. Fixes the phenomenon of extreme underexposure when using some lenses.
  2. Fixes the phenomenon of auto power off function failure when auto power off is set more than 2 minutes.
  3. Fixes the phenomenon of incorrect white balance when using an external flash.

Can't say I've ever had any of those problems, but, there you have it.

  1. Cool - thanks for the link. I haven't had those problems either, but I'll update.

Do you use iPhoto to download pictures from your XT? If so, do you have any problems with it? For me, pictures import fine but it locks up iPhoto every time.

  2. I use iPhoto, but I've got a Firewire CF card reader. I've had it since I got my Nikon Coolpix 995 - it's great. No lockups… I did have to download from the camera once or twice, and I don't recall anything locking up then either.
