Panogames

Use of QuickTime VR to display panoramic images of games? That's certainly an interesting use of panoramas!

  1. The first time I saw it done, I thought it was a pretty cool idea. For one thing, it is usually lower bandwidth than a trailer video, and can actually show MORE. And that allows more hot spots within the game to be shown.

The other thing it has going for it is, it is slightly interactive-- you might feel as if you are actually in the game, taking a breather.
