QotD: Work Today

Question: Do you have work today? How long is your Christmas Break?

My Answer: I work for myself, so the answer to both is "It depends on how I feel." 🙂 I plan to work on some side projects today, for the most part. Like the one mentioned in the previous QotD.

You are encouraged to answer the Question of the Day for yourself in the comments or on your blog.

  1. Wednesday night was my last night of work so no work for me today. I go back to work Monday night.

  2. If you have any suggestions for how to get started working for oneself, I'd love to hear them...

Anyway, yes I have to work today. I only get Monday off. 🙁

  3. I'm working, but I do get the next two Mondays off with pay. Not too bad.

  4. My suggestions: work on a side project on your own time, sell it as software, and on the site you sell the thing offer your services as a programmer/developer.

But that's a tip for another day, I guess.

  5. yes i do. :\

  6. I put in a full 9 hours today and get Monday off. That's it for a break. It's alright, though, I could use the pay.

  7. I get Christmas Eve through New Year's Day off. One of those nice things about working at a college. 🙂

I did have to go in to work on Friday, though, because they were doing tests of our backup generator, so I had to switch off whatever computers weren't on UPSes while they did their thing. (our power went off three times ... I played games on my Gameboy while I waited for them to finish, so it wasn't really work, I guess.)
