I’d Rather be Cummins

The stickers on the back of the truck in this photo, taken with my camera phone while driving in Ohio on I-90 read "I'd Rather be Cummins Then Strokin'."
The fact that the bozo has his grammatical ignorance on display for all to see is at least close to being the most amusing thing about it.

I've seen a bunch of these stickers around here (obviously a reference to the Cummins turbo diesel used in Dodge pickups being, in their mind at least, better than the Power Stroke diesel used in Ford trucks) but I think the ones I've seen at least had "than" instead of "then" in them... but I'll have to check for sure next time!

I believe I speak for most Ohioans when I say... 😐

For those who don't quite understand redneck humor (although, it's sad, not really funny);
There's a (juvenile) meaning behind that sticker. Think of it as the new version of (Calvin's) "Piss on Ford" crap we all used to be subjected to.
With Dodge trucks, there's a diesel engine option...and the power plant is manyfactured by Cummins.
With the Ford Super Duty series, their diesel power plant is named
"Power Stroke".
Dodge vs. Ford
Cummins vs. Power Stroke
Here in rural MN, it is not rare to see stickers on trucks like that. In fact, it's all over the place.

Chip, I think the first comment explained that. The stupid thing about this particular fellow is that he said "then" instead of "than."

I swear, I did not see that initial comment. Otherwise I wouldn't have wasted my time explaining. My specs may need checking 😉
I saw that. I'm unsurprised, too.
Less than a year ago, I posted a parody about this type of mentality.

Uhm, except that's not what's happening here. There's a grammatical mistake. Duh.
Or perhaps I should say "another ignorant retard attempts to call someone else the same, but fails miserably."
