80 Text Messages per Day!

Holy crap! I haven't broken the 200/month barrier yet on my iPhone.
American teenagers sent and received an average of 2,272 text messages per month in the fourth quarter of 2008, according to the Nielsen Company -- almost 80 messages a day, more than double the average of a year earlier.

I doubt I've done more than 10 per month. (I wouldn't bother having a text plan if my employer didn't pay for it.)
Of course, I send a ton of email from my iPhone. Most of those teens aren't using iPhones.

I think I text my g/f about 20 times a day plus her replies, my sister texts me as do mom, dad, etc. plus twitter updates so I probably hit close to 50-100 a day. Depends really
If I had web access that'd drop drastically since I could use email, Im, etc. but txting works

And I have yet to send a single text message. Ever.

I send about 3 a year.
