QotD: Singing Voice
Posted June 29th, 2003 @ 11:00pm by Erik J. Barzeski
Question: If you could have the singing voice of anyone, whose voice would you have?
My Answer: I have no idea - I like bands, and my favorite is R.E.M., but there's nothing terribly spectacular about Michael Stipe's voice. I'll go with "Josh Groban" because I know more than a few lady friends would pretty much do him after only a few notes, and hey, if I'm going to have a gift, I may as well use it for good. My own good, that is. 🙂

David Draiman of Disturbed. If only I could scream like that and not lose my voice 🙂

Stipe may not have a showy voice, but he can make the occasional cheesy lyric sound totally sincere. As to the question, I don't know. Maybe Neil Finn.

Elvis from the late 60's and 70's era. That dude had a phenomonal voice.

Think I'd go with Geoff Tate from Queensryche. His voice is amazing. I've heard more then one person comment about how is voice is too good to be in rock.
The other tempting answer would be Barry White. 🙂
