Disclaimer
Posted February 24th, 2003 @ 05:21pm by Erik J. Barzeski
I'll try to make this as simple as it gets: any and all information on this site reflects my thoughts and my thoughts alone. They should never be construed as the thoughts or opinions or stances of anyone but me. The list of people who are "not me" includes my employers, family, friends, pets, neighbors, subcontractors, soulmates, ex-girlfriends, employees of Coca Cola, and one very funny smelling guy in eastern Rochester, NY, among others.
Sometimes, the opinions expressed on my site aren't even my actual opinions. As a firm believer in "you don't truly understand something until you can argue it from either side of the fence" I might post a viewpoint that isn't mine just so I can practice a different side of the argument. Or to get someone else to defend a point with which I agree.
Any questions about something I've said? Contact me.

On the topic of disclaimers, I once saw this at the bottom of a Usenet post:
Disclaimer: Any resemblance between the above views and those of my employer, my terminal, or the view out my window are purely coincidental. Any resemblance between the above and my own views is non-deterministic. The question of the existence of views in the absence of anyone to hold them is left as an exercise for the reader. The question of the existence of the reader is left as an exercise for the second god coefficient. (A discussion of non-orthogonal, non-integral polytheism is beyond the scope of this post.)
