My Wife’s New Subaru Forester

Even as recently as a few days ago my wife wasn't sure what kind of car she wanted.

That's all over now - we picked up the new car today - a Subaru Forester 2.5x Limited in "Paprika Red Pearl":

Subaru Forester

Came with some nice options in addition to all of the standard features, including:

  • All Weather Floor Mats
  • Auto Dim Mirror w/Compass & Homelink
  • iPod Interface Kit
  • Black iPod/Phone Console Tray
  • Luggage Compartment Cover
  • Rear Bumper Cover
  • Splash Guard Kit
  • Vertical Cargo Net

And yeah, it's pretty lame that mud flaps are an option, but whatever. And we got it at a good price, too.

But that was a while ago, and I expect their experience was based on older model years than that. Everything recent I see has been pretty positive.

And on a strictly aesthetic level, that's a nice color, too. 🙂

  3. I am a big fan of our 2002 Subaru Forester. The older models (like mine) had issues with the head gasket, but from what I read the problem was fixed in the new models from the past couple of years.

    Very nice color!

  4. My son-in-law has a 2006 Forester it's the only car
he has ever had that he hasn't complained about.
    Been thinking about getting a 2010 for myself. 
