Possibilities

I had an absolutely fabulous* time with an absolutely fabulous* dame last night. I guess Friday is the next time we'll get to hang out. The girl's a keeper, friend or otherwise, because she likes steak. 🙂 Mmmmmm. We went to see Chicago, hung out here at the apartment, ate some ice cream, and talked. A visit to Denny's got thrown in there somewhere as well.

The day before yesterday this gal and I chatted the night away (quite literally - to 4am). When it was all said and done her log folder came to 150k. Nine hours of chatting will do that to you, I guess. I'm really looking forward to the next time we get to spend some time together, though… no, not gonna overthink it, just gonna move on and keep on keepin' on (not that I know what that means). Play it by ear, go with the flow. Yeah. But so far, she's pretty awesome. 🙂 Two smileys in one post, eeek! The title of this entry sums it up I guess.

Chicago was not what I'd expected. I kind of expected less music and dancing and singing. I try not to read too much about movies before I see them, instead just hoping friends tell me whether a movie is worth seeing or not, and so I wasn't sure what to expect. I wasn't expecting an American Moulin Rouge with a different storyline, but that's what I got, and I did enjoy it. Not quite as much as Moulin Rouge. Catherine Zeta-Jones certainly looks better with longer hair and more clothes, but I've already talked about "clothing = sexy" before. Renée Zellweger looked like a younger, thinner Marilyn Monroe. It's a good show and worth seeing.

I think after Outback we're going to see "How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days." She's a girl, and I'm a sap, so we should both enjoy it. Besides, Kate Hudson's a cutie.

* Inside joke, I guess.
