Being a geek in Silicon Valley is hell on relationships. The computer has its attractions, believe me. It doesn't yell. It doesn't scream. It doesn't make me do chores. It doesn't bring up past emotional pain. On the other hand, there are a few things a computer won't do, but then this is a G-rated weblog.
By jove, I agree! The trick, then, might be to find a gal who is as geeky (or will be some day) as you are. Ah, yes, the trick indeed. I'll let y'all know how that turns out…
