Hmmm…
Dave sent this to me awhile ago and I'm not even sure how it works. What is that mat under the car and why does it let the whole car sink? WTF? I have no idea what the origin of these images may be (I have higher quality separate shots if anyone wants 'em).

Hmm, something doesn't look right. I think the shadow placement of the people is slightly wrong - the pictures are taken from different angles and the shadow angles don't line up right... But I could be wrong.

Looks like they reason they tell every one not to drive through puddles: It's probably a sinkhole. By the looks of it, it's not a very good neighbourhood for driving, either.
Speaking of sinkholes, here was one in Tampa Bay.

Yeah but in the fourth shot a woman wearing the same color shirt is standing there. Looking rather dry, too. Though she does have flood pants on…

it's in Russia. presumably the sewer beneath the street collapsed.
