Question: What's your favorite playground game?
My Answer: I used to be pretty damn good (and enjoy tremendously) the game "foursquare."

Second vote for 4-square. I used to rule at the game, but always hated the bastards that tried to use "cherry bombs." 🙂

I was quite fond of 'Kill the man with the ball.'

Gabe, we called that one "smear the queer." Not quite politically correct, but dammit, who cared?

As weird as it may sound, the Stanford CS Department still has get-togethers every Friday, where people play 4-square. It's a semi-old tradition.

Ah yes, 4-square. I had my own set of rules that was widely used that was derived from Porter's rules, who was actually a teacher at my school. Of course that was 25 years ago and for the life of me I can't remember any of them. Damn, that was fun though. Not as fun as Trench, but you couldn't play that at recess...
