Fastlane Crashes

From Carpe Aqua comes the news that Fastlane was cancelled. As you can see I've mentioned Fastlane several times. It is - correction, it was - one of my favorite shows, a sort of Miami Vice for the new millenia. The camera work, the writing, it was all very well done. Other TV shows I've liked that met with a quick demise: "That's Life" and "Hidden Hills." There are many, many others that I think of every now and again, but Fastlane was one of the best. Hrmph.

I DON'T CARE HOW MANY DIFFERENT WAYS THEY EXPLAIN WHY IT WAS CANCELLED. I WON'T UNDERSTAND IT! TIFFANY, BILL, AND PETER HAD GREAT CHEMISTRY AND THE SHOW HAD GREAT WRITING. THE ACTION WAS PEFECT. THE WAY THEY STARTED EACH SHOW WITH THE ENDING -- THEN TOOK YOU BACK IN TIME TO START THE SHOW WAS ORIGINAL. I HOPE TO CATCH RERUNS SOMEWHERE ON SOME CHANNEL. IF THERE IS A CHANCE TO BRING IT BACK, I PROMISE, AS A DEVOTED FAN, I WILL WATCH EVERY FRIDAY AND HAVE EVERYONE ELSE I KNOW WATCH IT. Fox has become the CBS of the new millenium. Any time they produce a decent show targeted at a young audience, they give it some crappy time so it fails;Dark Angel, Family Guy, and now Fastlane. Why would you place a show targeted for the ages of 16-25, maybe younger or older, for Friday at 8? That's when I start my drinking for the night. The last thing I wanna do is go home and watch some TV. Then dumbshit like "The Pulse" and "Joe Millionaire" and "Skin". No one I know watches that garbage. That's all I have to say. Peace out. I've watched Fastlane right from the beginning. And from the beginning i was hooked. The fraise " rode hard and put away wet" comes to mind wheni think of that show. I think it's hunting season on Fox. LOCK AND LOAD

Fastlane was the bomb. Every episode was bad ass. I guess Fox makes too much money to want to keep a hit show. What makes matters worse is that they added some very crappy shows like Skin and Tru Calling. What a waste.

Fastlane is a great show, the person who decided to cancel it should be shot. From how the storyline was, the tricked-ass cars and hot girls this show was one of the best if not the best on Fox they should immediately put this back on the air.

I want to assume that the brainless execs who decided to cancel the show did so because of high costs. To me, any other reason is not good enough. The show was an awesome combination of fast cars, beatiful people and lots of action. FOR GOD'S SAKE BRING IT BACK!!! It's the only good non-animated show the network has (I mean, HAD) right now.

I loved this show, but when it went to Fridays, I missed so many of the shows since I would forget to set my VCR. This was a great newage show with hot music, hot girls, and crank'en music. The actors were great and the writing kept you on the edge of your seat. Shame on FOX for killing the show! You knew that when they moved it to Friday it was doomed.

It's like a senseless killing. It was a fine, fine show. I got into so much trouble watching it on the job when I used to work at a local YMCA. Sadly I hear that Bill, Tiffeny and Peter are already involved with other projects and we may never see Fastlane return. But then again, They were able to bring back the cast of "What's Happinin'?" for "What's Happinin' NOW". Not even putting those show on the same level, I'm just saying it's possble!

I loved the show Fastlane. The best episode ever was the season finally. Beacuse Bille was kidnaped by someone and then they injected her with drugs. The boy's were one their way and that's when the show got cancelled. I was PISSED!! that it's not on anymore. What kind of DUMBASS MOTHERFUCKER person would ever cancel Fastlane, that person must have some balls to do what they did.I mean Fastlane was the only show that was not like anyother show. Hey yo, yeah, Fastlane was and IS the best show in da hood, in da world I mean, I used to watch it on WB on Mondays at 8 pm, I remember that after they passes the last episode, they started to repit the episodes in disorder, I thought they would put another season until I saw a commercial about the upcoming seasoin in WB and I saw that they put another program on fastlane schedule, I DIED INSIDE !!!!!, then I saw that it was from Fox, I wanna put a bomb in the stomach of da guy who did that, I mean, he deserves life sentence, death penalty, he deserves hell and more....they should really put it back, I'm serious, if they don put it back, I will become a lawyer and send 'em to jail, or if not, I will become a serial killer, a CIA agent, in one way or another, if I kill em, It wouldn't be a crime, thay would give me money for that !!!!!!Lol.

Yeah, I wish they kept Fastlane on air. It was first on Wednesdays, better than Fridays. I stopped watching it on Fridays b/c I was either too busy or completely forgot about it!! I really wish they brought it back, the cast was great!!!

Its almost a year after the season (make that series) finale, and i still have hope that ill turn on the shit box on friday night and catch van and deaq blasting some mother fuckers' brains out. Fox, suck my balls! find the fuckin money to back this show and get it back. Those Stupid mother fuckers who cancelled the show suck balls. That show kicks ass. Insted they replaced it for some shity ass garbage like Skin and Tru Callings and some other peice of shit ball licking show. Ok so it was A little chessy, but hell who dosent like to forget whats going on in the world for a hour. Who cares if people are dieing from aids on friday from 8-9pm, Hell I didnt. IT was like I was not even alive. One Time I even blew off my girlfriend on Valentines Day to watch Fastlane. It was the episode with Ray Ray and how he made bonds to not get killed or something like that. But Im not positve, But all I know about those ball lickers at fox who cancelled our show is that it so totlly kick ass. Fox has like 2or3 good shows on right now, during the week(not sunday, cuz all the shows on sunday kick ass). The O.C. and That 70's show. FOX is so struglling for ratings.

FASTLANE was the best show on their network, as far as I'm concerned. It's been almost a year since the last episode aired and I still miss it. Too bad FOX cannot make a few more episodes or a 2 hour finale to clear up what happened after Episode 22 - ICED. I wonder if Spike TV, USA or some other smaller network could pick the show up where it left off since FOX does not want to produce it. I mean, USA made a kazillion episodes of Silk Stalkings and that wasn't even 1/2 the show of FASTLANE. I'm sure Peter Facinelli, Bill Bellamy, and Tiffany Thiessen would do the new shows even for slightly less pay if they had to. The show was kick ass and it was definitely not their acting abilities that killed it. Definitely the move to Friday night was the clincher - most of their prospective audience was not home to watch it! Hell, McG might even produce the new shows too. If you want to watch the shows, find them on KAZAA. I've found all but 4 shows, and I get to watch them all of the time without commercials! At least I can get my FASTLANE fix.

I'm from France and here we where watching fastlane on "canal +".
It was a damn great show, and I the first season finished some months ago, so I was wandering when the 2nde season will be out, and looking over the internet I found all this stuffs talking about it was cancelled.
There's a lot of people disapointed about it in france, this show was one of thebest american show available in my country.

I know I can't believe they took off Fastlane. It was my favorite show. I would watch it every week when it was on Wed., but when they moved it to Fri. I would often be working and miss it.DAMN IT.I wish they would bring it back with new episodes or at least have repeats on like they do for other shows.

I from Norway and fastlane was send on channel "tvnorge". now they have began to send old episodes from fastlane. it`s therefor I on the web to find out if a new season will come and find there`s website. but I cant have not yet find it. Can somebody help me? send me a e-mail.

since the show has been canceled, its becoming harder and harder to locate fans still trying to hold on to the show. If you would be interested, I have started up a message board on hyperboards; it is my goal to keep the show alive for as long as possible. I realize that it will not be returning, but I also know that the show's memory doesn't have to die along with it. Just wanted to add my part to this forum, in case someone from FOX reads through!
I have been, and always will be a Fastlane FAN, and because of you FOX, I had to search the internet for someone who had recorded all the eposides onto DVD's....it took me months but I found him, somewhere out in California. Now if FOX would have released Season 1 on DVD, they could have afforded a Season 2 of Fastlane from the profits.
Just wanted to speak my mind.

Just wanna start by saying Tru Calling is not all THAT bad. Eliza Dushku....MMMMMmmmmmm.
Anyway I digress. If I am not mistaken, did they not do the same thing with another Show Called John Doe or was that a different "Network" Either way they seem to have everything arse about face these days.. If people are watching their shows they think "Hell, this is no good let's move it to a stupid slot on another night when we know that no one will watch it, that way when we cancel it we have the statistics to justify it"
WHAT THEY DON'T think about is the reason they put it on the air in the first place. FOR PEOPLE LIKE US who actually make them who they are. Let's face it. If we stopped tuning in to their channel they would have to cancel ALL their Dumb reality shows aswell. which means that eventually they would be making a loss of profit and all the ASSHOLES who put the shit shows on could get fired and they could hire people like us who actually enjoy watching good shows to get them all put back on the air.
Problem solved... SO JUST IN CASE FOX READS THIS> WITHOUT US YOU ARE NOTHING> START LISTENING TO WHAT WE SAY AND GET THE GOOD SHOWS PUT BACK ON FOR ANOTHER SERIES OR AT LEAST HAVE THE DECENCY TO FINISH OFF THE SERIES SO THAT THERE ARE NO LOOSE ENDS TO JUSTIFY COMMENTS LIKE THIS BEING MADE.

The final episode is airing 2night on Uk tv (c4). I have only just caught on2 this show & am completely hooked. I am utterly devistated 2 find out that the show was stopped in its prime & on such a cliffhanger! If the rumours I am hearing are true, that filming for a new season have started this summer & there will be a new series will be out in 2008, I will be more than happy. Fingers crossed everybody! Maybe with the power of will, we can make it happen!

It kicks the ass of any action series on at the moment. Although Las Vegas is back...anyways I hope somebody at FOX realises how much they've fucked up and bring it BACK!

Fastlane was an unbelievable show, the writing, the cast, the concept, everything about it seemed to click and work... I used to watch every episode a few years back and wouldn't miss one for the world. I'm hoping that they bring it back, it was madd good, if not then atleast bring Season 1 to DVD. Fox shouldn't let the show go to waist, I mean it's not like they would lose money out of it, the show was a hit, and the Season 1 dvd would be another. PLEASE FOX DO SOMETHING....

years ago i missed te ending to fastlane, and only today did i see how it ended, and i must say i'm really gutted there not making another series. i'm a strong believer that if you end a show on a cliffhanger then you should always follow it on. there are no excuse's to leave a show as brilliant as fastlane on a cliffhanger and then not finish it. its absolute crap. i have to say i'm sad fastlane has finished the three main characters had great chemistry together and i would of like to have seen how it would have turned out. all i can say is whoever cut fastlane made a huge mistake! 😈

Man.......way to take a great sereis off the air....i have bought the shitty dvd series(with the better songs), and the actual dvd series(with the better picture and sound quality)...but no matter how you put it, they really need to come out with a second series, with all the same main characters. Is there some way McG will consider doing it? I had put my name in a petition to bring out the dvd from the actual producers (buy it if you find it...try Best Buy, Fry's, or any others) you will not be dissapointed...but, overall.........FASTLANE Season 2...PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!

And the chemistry was great?....no it was Perfect lol, i wanna see the 4 characters in another 15 episodes.....dont you guys? And yes 4, you cant forget about Aquarius!!

damn i noe im sooo late i just finsih watching fastlane and that show is the best show i have ever seen in my life i wish they will put it back on at least a movie for that one ending i wish

Man it's been years and there are still Fastlane fans out there and a lot of people that wanna see that show come back for a season 2..I lost hope awhile ago that we would ever get an answer to all those loose ends but I still love Fastlane and think fox is so so stupid for canceling it!! And we still don't know what happened to billie!!

i hear ya on that... i just got a kick to watch full season again while of work....from pilot to finale in one sitting.... wish they would do a season 2 but its been so long they would have to use new actors....but if they did i would be fine with it as long as the new actors had as good of chemistry together and the scripting and action was close then i would watch it again.....
TV shows nowadays aint worth a crap anymore
