So that "other" music service is out now, and it does nice things like restrict usage of your songs to one machine, charge you $9.49 for 2-song albums, and so on. The simple fact that the licensing is different for nearly every song should be enough to confuse the hell out of anyone. The nifty thing about the service I tend to use is that everything is pretty much the same, and I don't have to figure out what I can do with each of the (to date: 15) songs I've purchased.

I'm not sure why they ripped the Apple commercials. I don't like the Apple ones anyway.

I just made a spur-of-the-moment purchase, thanks to Erik's witty entry-title: I now own ByeMusic.com. It is obviously a bad pun on BuyMusic.com, and perhaps one day I will have energy to make a parody of their site. In the meantime once the DNS propog...

check out http://homepage.mac.com/jeremyburton66/buymusic/index.html . In that first ad, tommy lee get's all stupid and smashes apple's music campaign ( apple.com/music/) guitar. 🙁 What a waste of a good guitar.
