   I always thought it was "Liquor in the front, poker in the rear." I guess it depends on whether the quote is from the prohibition period when booze was illegal or from a more recent time when gambling was.

   Wow - I still remember the original "Big Johnson" Casino t-shirts with that exact phrase on it. (Though it was "Liquor up front, Poker in the rear")

   Granted, it will surely show my age, but I remember owning several of them (they were quite controversial at the time) and being popular about 1993/1994.

   About the phrase: Ummm ... ya who cares which way it is, as long as you're getting it. Although I know which one I'd rather it be.

   Makes we wonder, if I still have mine ... *goes to look* .. ha ha ha 🙂

   Yeah, "Liquor up front, Poker in the rear" sounds much more appealing to me.
