QotD: Fish

Question: What's your favorite fish to eat, if any?

My Answer: Trout or, a new favorite, redfish. The prior breaded, the latter blackened.

You are encouraged to answer the Question of the Day for yourself in the comments or on your blog.

  1. The kind that's breaded, I didn't have to catch, and I can dip into tartar sauce.

  2. Salmon.

  3. Salmon in just about any way it comes, raw, fish tacos, breaded for fish and chips, etc.

  4. Whatever fish I didn't clean and cook. Nothing kills my appetite for fish faster than all the prep work. Luckily, that's what restaurants are for (but the ones I go to never tell me what kind of fish they use. Is this a little... fishy?)

  5. Swedish Fish!

Oh wait, sorry. White Perch. 🙂

  6. Having grown up in Louisiana, I've eaten a lot of different type of fish. I've also been a massive sushi fan forever as well (unagi rules!).

The best fish when it comes to flavor though, is steelhead trout. It's tough to beat.

  7. Either dolphin or halibut for non-breaded eating. Cod for breading, can't shake the New England heritage on that one. 🙂

  8. Salmon, but all fish is just so awesome and enjoyable... save monkfish. That is the ugliest, least savory fish in the sea.

    { shudder }

  9. Salmon....mmmmm....Salmon. Guess what I will be cooking this week. 🙂

  10. sushi.

  11. Well I had a rather sordid answer in mind, but I'll just stick with salmon for decency's sake.

  12. My favourite fish? Kingfish... readily obtainable in Southern India!

    Best regards,

Tim Butler - i'll report back to you later!!
