  1. Unless I miscounted, I've seen 59 of the top 100.

  2. not seen yet: harry potter(s), spider man(s), shrek(s), lion king (ugh), grinch, mrs. doubtfire, aladdin, mummy returns, beautiful mind, chicago

I think about to rent the dvd's of spider man and harry potter until it's getting colder and darker - these are it-is-winter-thats-why-I'm-sitting-in-front-of-the-tv-so-comfortable-movies. I guess at least.

  3. 99 out of 100. I have not seen Planet of the Apes. Well, not that version anyway... No, wait. I didn't see the old one either...

  4. 100 Top Grossing Movies

Erik asks "How many of the 100 highest grossing movies of all time have you seen?" I've seen this in a few blogs, and this was a fun one to answer. Going through the list brought back so many memories....

  5. Top Grossing Movies

    I haven't seen almost 25% of the top grossing movies. That's not too bad is it? Props to Erik for the post. 1. Titanic (1997) – $600,779,824 2. Star Wars (1977) – $460,935,665 3. E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial (1982) – $434,949,459...

  6. I've seen 79 of them. Most of the twenty one movies I haven't seen have come out in the last couple years and seemed rather unappealing to me (Harry Potter, The Passion, The Mummy, Bruce Almighty, etc.)

  7. The Top 117 grossing movies adjusted for inflation has a broader list of movies.

I haven't seen as many of the blockbusters as I expected. I'm missing 25 from the above and 16 on the adjusted list.

  8. Missed 23 on the list. I'd like to say that I prefer film to blockbusters/movies, but obviously having seen the majority of these flicks, I violate that totally.

Maybe it's just that film is a rarity with so little room for independent films on big screens (at least where I live).

  9. 93. What's crazy is that with the exception of X-Men 2, I have not seen the exact same ones as you. I've seen X-Men 2 but not Tootsie.

  10. According to my calculations, I have seen 66 of them.

  11. u havent seen sound of music? how could u??? 😉

  12. everyone whose list i read has seen almost all of them - i need to update my queu at netflix obviously.

  13. 100 Top-Grossing Movies

As seen at NSLog();. While most people are bolding the ones they’ve seen, I’ve seen a great number of these, so like Erik, I’m going to bold the ones I haven’t seen. Some of these surprised me — The Waterboy,...

  14. Wow! Contrary to what I believed, I've seen 97 of them. Passion of Christ, Bruce Almighty and Catch Me If You Can are the only ones I haven't seen yet.

What strikes me as strange is that you haven't seen any of the most rerun classics like Gone with the Wind and Sound of Music.

C'mon! It's a well known fact that there is a weird cosmic planet alignment that influences TV folks to air one of those classics every time you are sick in bed 😉

  15. Haven't seen 12 of them. 1 (HP:Azkaban) we'll be buying on DVD. Most of the rest I'd see if they came on a movie channel, but a few I won't see (That version of Planet of the Apes, Hannibal), and some (The Passion of the Christ, Ghost) I doubt I'll watch because there will probably always be something else on I'd rather see.

  16. Top Grossing Movies

From nslog(): Question: How many of the Top-Grossing Movies have you seen? Answer: Wow. 92. The ones I haven't seen are in bold (read more)....

  17. Re: Top Movies

How many of the 100 highest grossing movies of all time have you seen? I have seen 94 of them (see extended entry for list)...

  18. 100 Movies / 100 films

I know I don't write a lot but here's a first bilingual entry. I had to answer this. Erik J. Barzeski which I read often asks this on his blog : How many of the 100 highest grossing movies of...

  19. I havent seen 20 out of those 80. Some came before I was born (Gone with the Wind, The Sound of Music), others didnt appeal to me (Tarzan, Jurassic Park III), some I missed in the movies and havent rented yet (Elf, Grinch), and some I didn't even know existed (Rainman).

  20. QotD: Top 100 Movies
