QotD: Sport

Question: What's your favorite sport?

My Answer: Golf, followed thereafter by hockey and soccer. I don't really consider fishing and hunting to be sports in the same fashion, nor target shooting. They'd follow golf, hockey, and soccer anyway. And probably baseball, bowling, football, and a few others.

  1. Baseball is close to religion for me. My other faves, in no particular order-- football, hockey, golf, football (you know, the other one), and formula one auto racing.

And since these are the times of the summer games-- I watch every event I possibly can during the Olympics.

  2. Soccer.

This may be due, in part, to the fact that I never got to play football.

  3. Baseball followed by football. I also enjoy golfing but I don't have anyone to go golfing with which sucks pretty bad...

  4. Cricket followed by Soccer. I usually only play golf with my mates so I don't have a handicap and my drive is rotten. Once on the green I am golden though.

My Answer: One that I play? Golf, and badly. One that I watch? Sport? Me watch sport? You're confused!

  6. I like Taekwondo; Olympic Taekwondo. I also like other combat oriented sports, I don't enjoy watching any kind of team sports at all.

  7. Hmm sking of course, as a swiss citizen, also used to play in a tabletennis club for some years, but today it mainly is skiing, depending on wether hiking is a sport (other than mental recreation *fg*)

  8. Would be a tie between Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and cycling (both road and mountain bike).

  9. The only sport I watch much at all is baseball.
