QotD: Trilogies

Question: What's your favorite trilogy?
My Answer: Tomorrow, Andy and I are going to watch Die Hard, Die Hard 2: Die Harder, and Die Hard With a Vengeance. Right now I can't think of a better trilogy. Star Wars doesn't win. The Lord of the Rings doesn't win. Most of the others that could beat it aren't trilogies (any three Bond movies, etc.).

Die Hard is hard to beat. Indiana Jones though might be a good contender for my fav (who know if they will ever make the 4th).

I never really liked Die Hard 2, but 1 and 3 are hard to beat. I love Alan Rickman and Jeremy Irons as bad guys.

Star Wars. I'd love to include The Godfather, but the last film in that series was so goddamn disappointing.
