10 Days to PulpFiction 1.2: Day 10
Posted January 10th, 2005 @ 10:04pm by Erik J. Barzeski
On January 20*, we'll be releasing PulpFiction 1.2. On each of the next ten days, I'll be discussing a new feature we've added to my favorite aggregator. Let's start things off with not one feature, but a collection of features:
- Added "Google This" to web view
- Changed mail article's subject to Fwd: article title
- Set page up and page down to scroll the preview pane
- Added 'category' to template options (^y).
These additions constitute a refinement of what we've got, and our response to some user feedback. "Google This" is a handy contextual menu, for example, and "Fwd: What I Had for Lunch" is a lot more descriptive than "Fwd: PulpFiction Article." Categories can now be used in templates, which is great for the feeds that supply them. As I said, refinement.
There are still nine more days to go. Stay tuned.
* According to plans, anyway. 🙂

All excellent selections for refinement. I'm particularly glad to see the change in the subject line of forwarded articles.
