Question: What words spring to mind when you see this image?
My Answer: This was just an excuse to post that image. Ha ha ha ha. If you've been on the Web for a year or more, you've no doubt seen this. FWIW, my answer is the image's alt tag.

PEANUT BUTTER N JELLY TIME!

You know, since at least last august, I have started my daily surf almost entirely via RSS feeds and pulp fiction, so I haven't seen this dancing banana before. Wasn't it in the throbber logo for Mosaic before they started calling themselves Netscape?
I think I saw a picture of Raffi once, captioned with something about a banana phone, but really, the reference of this image is completely lost on me. (Loosy? Splain!) I think it is a song of Raffis for some reason. I'm more of a teletubbies guy, and the Wiggles scare me.

Look on Ebaumsworld.com, under "Toons" I think, and find the one that says "It's peanut butter jelly time!". You'll see a picture of the banana.
Prepare to get that stuck in your head all day.

I think of a song my brother had the joy of playing when we we're younger (he plays the trumpet) called "Funky Bannana." This is even though that bannana was certainly not funky. 😉
