Question: What did you do for your mom today?
My Answer: Nothing. Absolutely nuttin'! I am taking her to a nice dinner this week, though. Just not today, right now. Her birthday is mixed in there too.

A plant, which one of my cats chewed up (and then puked). To make up for the partially chewed leaves, I picked some gardenias and arranged them around it.

Today, nothing. Yesterday we gave her and Pa Pére the twins for the day while we went off to work on the farm. Believe it or not, that is a perfect Mother's Day gift for her.
(I also gave her boat load of books to read while she's riding the bus over to our house to visit)
