QotD: Steak

Question: If you're in the mood for a good steak (and can't cook one yourself), to which restaurant do you head?
My Answer: Texas Roadhouse or Outback. There are a few differences between the two, but Outback is certainly more expensive.

I normally cook my own steaks, as I know exactly how I like them. Mmmm British Fillet Steak. You've made me hungry now!
However I have fond memories of the Chicago Hilton. Had an excellent steak for under $30 in their main restaurant. I'd travel the 3000-odd miles just to have another!

So I can't cook the steak? I'll let the wife know she has to do it. But seriously... I don't eat much steak any more. I love it, but over the past few years if we're going out for something special it's usually been Italian or Japanese. Though back to earlier, the wife did grill some excellent steaks the other night. Mouth watering yumminess. It just melted in my mouth it was so good. Otherwise, going out for steak, in this town, I really don't know. In the two years since I've been here we've gone out for steak once.... to Outback.

Wow, there are so many answers for that. I just got married recently though and my brother got married last weekend, so I have had so many great steaks at so many awesomely expensive restaurants, country clubs, catered events, etc that I am set as far as good steak goes. At least for a few months I think.
As for the answer... I like Longhorn or Hops for a good, quick steak.. yum!
