QotD: Computers and Happiness

Question: Have the presence of computers in your life made you happier?
My Answer: Unequivocally, yes. They've allowed me to communicate with friends, to share pictures and stories, and to get a laugh now and then. I like what I do for work, and I work with computers, so even though I'm sometimes frustrated at computers (or the Internet, or software, etc.), even in work they've made me happier.

I don't know about happier, but computers have certainly made life more enjoyable. Technologically, we have it made: iPod, iTunes, iLife, DV camcorders, OS X, cheap super-fast computers - it's amazing.

Yes. I am happier in the sense that computers are fun for me and help me create things. I have found that I am good at things I wouldn't be able to do without the use of a computer and being good at things makes me happy. Plus I can stay connected to friends I wouldn't otherwise hear from as often and that makes me happy, too.
