QotD: Phone

Question: For what purpose do you use your mobile (cell) phone?

My Answer: For calling people, answering calls, and taking about ten pictures, ever. That's it. I don't browse the Web, I don't use a PDA, and… that's about it.

  1. Making and receiving calls at any time and any place (no roaming charges on my account) Taking pictures (my tiny 2mp sony camera died, and this 1mp camera will do for silly little snapshots) Keeping an address book, calendar, alarm clock, sometimes a calculator, a memo pad, a clock, and sometimes i use google to find phone numbers and directions. ...i also sometimes use it to satisfy a nervous or bored hand. 🙂

  2. 90% alarm clock, 9% getting called, 1% calling someone.

...and I have a Windows 2000 serial in the phone book. Heh.

  3. Calling, being called, text messages (1-5 a week, max), recieving outage notifications, and IRC. It's a 1.3MP camera, so it comes in useful occasionally, but lets face it... it has enough megapixels, it just lacks the lens to take decent photos.
