There Goes My Uptime (SU 2005-007)

So much for my uptime: Security Update 2005-007 (aka the "Bond, James Bond" of Security Updates).

For the record, it was:

% uptime
17:46 up 33 days, 19:29, 3 users, load averages: 0.15 0.57 0.67

BTW, I hate, hate, hate waiting for Saft updates. Dum dee doo… twiddle my thumbs… no idea what 20 tabs or so I have saved…

  1. Whoa, mine is almost the same.

    18:16 up 33 days, 19:35, 2 users, load averages: 0.77 0.59 0.63

  2. $ uptime
    18:21:17 up 95 days, 21:44, 7 users, load average: 0.10, 0.05, 0.01

    (that's running Linux, however)

  3. % uptime
    21:57 up 47 days, 22:08, 2 users, load averages: 1.37 1.08 0.85

  4. I rarely have an uptime of more than one day, since my ATI retail graphics cards refuse to wake up from sleep about 50% of the time (resulting in a system freeze)...

  5. My uptime would probably be better if I stopped rebooting all of the time. I should check the wife's laptop though, it usually has a much better average than my desktop.

  6. Just to brag a bit....

    08:09:50 up 511 days, 17:25, 70 users, load average: 1.80, 1.90, 1.73

That's my server on dat dere old interweb...
